The quest for physical perfection and beauty still continues today, and many people are turning to plastic surgery to change the way their faces look. The most common procedure that people undergo is rhinoplasty, more commonly known as a nose job. This involves the surgery of the nasal area in order to fix the structure and shape of the nose. Physical imperfections such as bumps, humps, wide and flaring nostrils, too much fatty tissue around the nose and wide nose bridges can now be erased with the rhinoplasty procedure.
There are two main kinds of rhinoplasty procedures that plastic surgeons perform on their patients seeking to enhance or improve the appearance of their noses. The first kind is the closed rhinoplasty, which is basically a nasal surgery that is done making incisions inside the nose. Meanwhile, another kind of procedure is called open rhinoplasty. Here, the incisions are made by the plastic surgeon outside the nose or along the columella. The columella is the separating tissue that divides the nostrils into two compartments.
Depending on the specific needs of the patient and the technique that the plastic surgeon is most comfortable with, an open or closed rhinoplasty will be recommended and performed on the patient. In either case, the administration of anesthesia is mandatory, because the incisions that will be made on the nose will cause pain on the part of the patient. Most of the time, a closed rhinoplasty is preferred by both the patient and the plastic surgeon, because of the nature of the procedure, where the incisions made inside the nose will make the patient less likely to scar and heal faster.
However, despite the obvious advantages that the closed rhinoplasty procedure presents, most surgeons still recommend that the patient undergo an open rhinoplasty because it will make it possible for the surgeon to more freely work on the nasal cartilages and bones. When an open rhinoplasty is performed, the plastic surgeon can reshape the patient’s nose more accurately and a more drastic effect can be noticed.
An open rhinoplasty is especially recommended when the patient requires major overhauling in the nasal area. The downside to this technique is that there will be scarring on the outside of the nose. But the scarring is very minimal and it is rarely obvious, especially to the untrained eye, since the incision is made on the underside of the nasal area.
Whether the patient undergoes an open or closed rhinoplasty, the administration of anesthesia by a certified anesthesiologist is still required in both cases. The patient must communicate clearly to the doctor the medicines that he or she has been taking in the past few months. As well as any allergies that he or she has, as this may prove fatal to the patient when administered with anesthesia, before the procedure even begins.
The healing time for both rhinoplasty techniques is relatively the same. A closed rhinoplasty will still require a considerable amount of healing time, despite the fact that the cut was made underneath the nose. In fact, it is said that an open rhinoplasty patient will heal faster because the skin on top of the nose is more likely to close more quickly than the one underneath the nose, as in a closed rhinoplasty.
Injuries that have wreaked havoc on the face, hereditary deformities and the general quest of many to have the perfect face have sent many flocking to plastic surgeons in order to undergo plastic surgery of the nose.
Plastic surgery of the nose, or rhinoplasty, is an invasive surgical procedure that can be done two ways: there is the open rhinoplasty and the closed rhinoplasty. The first, called the open rhinoplasty, involves the making of incisions outside the nose in order to restructure or realign the nose. A closed rhinoplasty meanwhile involves the making of incisions inside the nose. Both methods have been proven to be effective.
There are some plastic surgeons however who, as much as possible, would prefer to perform closed rhinoplasty on their patients because there is less scarring and it is less harmful to the patient. However, there are some individuals who would still require open rhinoplasty because the amount of work that has to be done on their faces cannot be done through closed rhinoplasty.
Another procedure called a septoplasty can also be performed by a plastic surgeon if the only problem that the patient wishes to remedy is the realignment of a deviated septum, which causes physical and health problems for an individual.
However, if the thought of undergoing surgery, in order to improve the appearance of your nose, scares you, you will be thankful for the advancements that technology has brought about in our modern times. Non-surgical rhinoplasty offers a non-invasive option to those who are afraid of going under the knife or who just cannot be bothered with the hassles that healing and other post-operation procedures bring about.
But how exactly do these non-surgical rhinoplasties work? Plastic surgeons and dermatologists can use products such as Botox, Restylane and Radiesse, in their injection forms. With these products that are already used to remove wrinkles and shape the other areas of the face, they can be used in variable amounts in order to control and shape the nose.
The non-surgical rhinoplasty solution is ideal for those who are looking to improve their noses but do not require any major or drastic changes. Examples of the ideal candidates for a non-surgical rhinoplasty are those individuals who have noses which are not symmetrical, when there are some bulges in the nose that are unsightly and other similar minor imperfections.
The non-surgical rhinoplasty procedure is sometimes touted as the “fifteen-minute nose job”, because the entire procedure only takes up fifteen minutes of the patient’s time. Another reason why this new development is so appealing to many individuals is that there is less pain and practically no healing time after the procedure. The results are instant, and there is no need to wear bandages, replace dressings and take pain medications after the procedure, all of which are associated with having a nose job.
This new form of rhinoplasty is also very appealing to a lot of individuals because it will cost them considerably less than what a surgical rhinoplasty would cost. So for those who are not willing to spend too much but would like to remedy the appearance of their noses in a non-invasive manner, the non-surgical rhinoplasty is their best option.
There are a number of different reasons for why a person may require rhinoplasty. The most common reason why people undergo this procedure is for cosmetic reasons, in other words to improve their appearance. These people are not happy with how their noses look and desire either physical perfection or at least a way to increase their attractiveness. Others seek out this treatment in order to treat the deformities in their noses that they are born with or that they have acquired from an accident or an injury that causes major or minor damage to their noses.
Sometimes there are health complications that go along with not having a perfect or properly shaped nose, due to problems with its development or structure. This is sometimes because of the condition of having a deviated septum or that wall that divides the nose into two nasal passages. A typical septum runs along the center of the nose. However, when it deviates from the center path, persons having this condition are said to have deviated septum’s.
When a person has a deviated septum, this can cause difficulties in normal breathing. It also prevents the growth of nasal passages on one side of the nose and can cause the growth of too much nasal membranes on the other side of the nose.
Meanwhile, some illnesses become more advanced and complicated whenever there is the presence of a deviated septum. For example, the mere occurrence of the common cold in an individual with a deviated septum can cause such individual to develop nose and even throat infections. This is because of the abnormality in the shape of the nose and the inability of the nasal passages to operate properly.
This is the reason why those with deviated septum’s undergo deviated septum rhinoplasty or septoplasty. Here, the nose is reconstructed by first removing the septum, straightening it out and finally, putting the septum back inside the nose. Sometimes, the septoplasty is done together with a rhinoplasty that involves the reconstruction or enhancement of other parts of the nose.
Septoplasty in itself is a relatively simple and swift procedure. Most septoplasties can be completed within a few hours and do not require that the patient stay in the hospital overnight, or in other words, it is an outpatient procedure. Additionally, there is hardly any after effects such as edema or bruising after a septoplasty.
However, if the septoplasty procedure is done in conjunction with a rhinoplasty that involves the reconstruction of other parts of the nose, there is a chance that the patient will have to stay in the hospital for at least a night following the procedure.
What are the advantages of undergoing a septoplasty or a deviated septum rhinoplasty? First of all, those having problems and issues with their sinus and sinus infections will no longer experience such complications because their sinus and nasal passages will start working properly when their septum is in its proper place. Second, patients may also see the removal of the bumps or humps that having a deviated septum can bring about in their nasal structure.
Rhinoplasty is said to be an art because it involves the sculpting of the nose to the desired look of the patient. However, there are many factors that come into play when re-constructing the perfect nose. One such factor is the racial background of the patient. Many plastic surgeons will only improve the patient’s existing nose and try to keep the improvements within what is realistically possible for that patient’s racial background, so as not to make the nose look too artificial.
There are different kinds of nasal anatomies. There is the Caucasian, African American, Hispanic and the Asian. Let us focus on the Asian nose. Despite the differences in structure among various Asian nationalities, they have some common traits that are prominent in Asian noses.
The first thing that you may notice is that the Asian nose has skin that is heavy, thick and sebaceous (i.e. oily). It also has a radix that is deep and flat, while it’s nasal bridge is low. The dorsum meanwhile is wide and flat. The tip of the Asian nose is bulbous, with the presence of a lot of thick skin. As a whole the tip is under-projected, while there is the presence of an abundance of Fibrofatty tissue. The Asian nose is also characterized by broad domes that have minimal definition. The columella is short and retracted. Meanwhile, it also has a base that is wide and thick and the nostrils flare outwardly. The nasolabial junction is retracted and at an acute angle. The maxilla meanwhile is retrustive.
Although some people with Asian nasal anatomies will want to have their noses fixed so as to achieve a very sharp and Caucasian nose, most doctors will advise against such. A good plastic surgeon will actually want the patient to keep his or her oriental nose, while improving some parts of it so as to make it look better.
Take the example the following case. In this instance, a female patient had a typical Asian nose, which is characterized by a wide dorsum that is at the same time flat. Instead of changing her entire nose to look like that of a Caucasian’s, the plastic surgeon who worked on her case opted to narrow down the patient’s nose but in such a way that it was still compatible with the structure of her face and the rest of her facial features. The plastic surgeon who also worked on her nose reduced the bones of the nose, as well as the cartilages, apart from reducing the width of the nostrils.
Additionally, most specialists will say that the best kind of nasal surgery should look natural, without making it obvious that any work was done on the nose. Therefore, any plastic surgery that stands out as artificial or looks like there was a lot of work done on it, is actually not a good job. The best way to work with an Asian nose, such as the one that is described in this case, is to perform an open rhinoplasty, wherein the nose is refined so as to complement the rest of the patient’s features.
Rhinoplasty is the term that is used to refer to the medical procedure involving the plastic surgery of the nose. There are many reasons that a patient may decide to undergo rhinoplasty. Some require it because they were born with a hereditary deformity on the nose, while others acquired such deformities from accidents or injuries that have caused damage to the nasal area. Meanwhile, others undergo rhinoplasty for the simple reason that they are unhappy with the appearance of their noses.
Whatever may be the reason that rhinoplasty is required; there are times when the results of the said procedure do not completely satisfy the patient. Some rhinoplasty patients complain that the work done on their noses resulted in making their noses look bigger, smaller, wider, flatter, fatter, shorter, longer, too pinched, too artificial, too crooked, too scooped, or that their noses were not symmetrical, or that the surgery resulted in creating bumps and humps on their noses.
Others further complain that the rhinoplasty caused obvious scarring on their nasal areas, that the work done was not enough to make any significant difference on their overall looks, or on the other hand that the work done looked overdone and too artificial. Others get conscious because of the comments that other people make on their nose jobs.
However, there are other serious problems that a bad rhinoplasty or just a rhinoplasty procedure in general can cause for a patient. Some examples of these are breathing problems and rhinorrhea. Breathing problems can result when the scar tissue that forms as an effect of the incisions done during the surgery block the airways of the nose either partially or fully. This certainly affects the ability of the patient to breathe in and out properly. In some cases, when the patient breathes in and out, a hissing or whistling sound is produced.
Rhinorrhea can also result whenever scar tissue forms on the nasal area as a result of the rhinoplasty or more specifically, damage to the concha media and or the middle turbinate. Rhinorrhea is the condition of having an excessive amount of mucous that drips continuously from the nose. Experts say that it is inevitable that a rhinoplasty patient experience rhinorrhea for the next few months immediately following the surgery. However, it is definitely not normal to continually have this condition for years following the said surgery.
It is because of these and other reasons that a revision rhinoplasty is required by some patients. Revision rhinoplasty means that the patient will undergo another rhinoplasty procedure to correct or improve the initial rhinoplasty that they had. It is important however to note that no one will ever have the perfect nose, as a surgeon’s work is limited to the specific anatomy of the patient as well as the latter’s racial background and facial features.
That is why it is not recommended that a person undergo revision rhinoplasty unless the reasons for doing so are serious and are damaging to the health.
Rhinoplasty procedures are often sought after for the simple reason that one is not happy with the appearance of his or her nose. Meanwhile, there are others who really require that they undergo the procedure because the current structure of their nose does not function effectively. Others undergo rhinoplasty because they injured their noses in an accident that has disfigured their faces or their noses. Additionally, with the current obsession of today’s advertising generation with perfect looks, it is not hard to see why undergoing a rhinoplasty procedure or a “nose job” in common parlance, is no longer taboo.
However, rhinoplasty is not as modern as one may think. In fact, more than three thousand years ago, the ancient Egyptians were already studying and treating deformities of the nose. The 1600’s saw the development of these treatments when an Italian doctor proposed the use of brachial-base delayed flaps in the said procedure. It was not until the late 1800’s however that the rhinoplasty procedure was revolutionized by a German doctor who created concepts and techniques that are still being used in the procedures being done today.
Contrary to popular perception, the term “rhinoplasty” does not refer to only one type of medical procedure to effect an alteration of the nose. But in fact embraces a number of different operating techniques.
What are these different techniques? One of them is called endonasal rhinoplasty. Endonasal is done by the use of incisions that are made inside the nose. The incisions made inside the nose can also be combined with incisions made on the outside of the nose, specifically on the columella. The latter type of procedure is called the external or open rhinoplasty approach, while the first type of procedure, the endonasal is also called closed rhinoplasty.
Like any type of procedure, there are advantages and disadvantages to both types of procedures. The main advantages of going through an endonasal or closed rhinoplasty procedure are that there will be fewer dissections, less swelling or edema after the operation and less scarring. Additionally, the doctor can perform more precise changes inside the nose and without having to open up the nose or take it apart. The closed rhinoplasty procedure also requires less time when it comes to performing the operation. Therefore, it also means that recovery time is also faster.
Depending on the patient’s particular needs, the plastic surgeon will recommend either a closed or an open rhinoplasty procedure. However, the doctor will more likely prescribe a closed rhinoplasty, because of the above-mentioned advantages that this technique has over the open procedure.
Despite the differences in the types of procedure, rhinoplasty patients must still exercise care and extra caution before and especially after the procedure. After a rhinoplasty, the patient must be extra careful in ensuring that he or she will not undergo any activity that will add injury to the nose, therefore avoiding sports and similar activities. Even simple tasks like blowing your nose or sneezing may cause damage to a newly-operated nose. Do these tasks with gentleness and extra care.
There are various factors to consider when it comes to African American rhinoplasty surgery. First of all, the African American has a different nasal structure and anatomy from Caucasians, Asians and Hispanics.
One of the most prominent features of the African American nasal anatomy is that base is typically wide and thick. The nostrils are wide and flare open. The skin around the nasal area is very thick and is abundant with fibrofatty tissue. The radix is deep and low. The nasal bridge is short while the dorsum is wide and flat.
For African Americans, the tip of the nose is most often bulbous and similarly thick skinned. There is also an abundance of soft tissue here, and the definition is very minimal. The nasolabial junction is retracted and the nasolabial angle is acute. The nasal spine is underdeveloped. Lastly, the maxilla is retrusive and hypo plastic.
Similar to the African American nasal anatomy is that of the Hispanics. The Hispanic nasal anatomy also features a wide nasal bridge and the tip of the nose is also bulbous, thick skinned and under projected. The nasolabial junction is similarly retracted and the nasolabial angle also acute. Flaring nostrils are also a feature that is shared by both kinds of anatomies.
However, the Hispanic nasal anatomy is marked by skin that has abundant sebaceous glands that may not be present in the African American anatomy. The Hispanic nasal anatomy also features a dorsum that is convex, making it look like there is a hump on the nose.
When comparing the African American nasal anatomy again with another kind of structure, that of the Asians, we will see a few similarities as well. The Asian nasal structure also features heavy and thick nasal skin. However, the skin most often features many sebaceous glands. The radix is similarly deep and flat. The nasal bridge is low while the dorsum is also wide and flat.
The tip of an Asian nose is similarly bulbous. But in contrast to the African American nose which is undefined, the Asian nose has minimal definition. The base of the Asian nasal anatomy is also wide and thick. The presence of flaring nostrils can also be seen in these noses. And just like the African American nasal anatomy, the nasolabial junction is retracted and the nasolabial angle is acute.
So what do we usually want to achieve when performing rhinoplasty procedures on African American, Asian and Hispanic noses? The most obvious would be to create a nose bridge that is thinner than the original wide and flat bridge. The dorsum must also be made higher, and the tip of the nose should be made more refined, with more definition. Instead of the flaring nostrils, the base will be made more akin to the triangular shape. Also, the nasolabial angle will be increased so as to make it more than a ninety-degree angle.
We must keep in mind however, that the goals of the patient should be as realistic as possible. The improvements on the nose should only be done to accentuate the patient’s natural features and not to completely alter his or her face.
One yr ago my weight made up 250 kilogram with height 165 centimeters. Somewhat large deviation to call weight as a right, isnт't it ? It as well made troubles for my personal life, since my partner has turned cooler in relations and our union seemed to be in danger. Therefore, I decided to drop-off weight. Really I accepted an alternative of liposuction, but medicos from Villa Medica advised to try on healthy lifestyle or dieting, because as they stated, suction lipectomy is not a substitution for weight loss. It was joke to talk around my life-style. I am not obsessed with food, just believe it is a common sense to buy a pair of beefburgers with french fries for luncheon. Today meds say to replace it with salads and fruit juice. As Well I was proposed to walk more and have some physical exercising. I managed it from Wednesday to Saturday when we drove to Iron Man 2. After cola and Zea mays everta we went to WendyтАЩs and had got a few beefburgers and some other a couple of. I went virtually onparadise, until I recalled weight loss job. Can you envisage what I made ? I made stomach cleaning and threw away all burgers from me ! Nonetheless, even this did not work. I did not drop off weight aft single week.. So disappointingтАж So I jumped into philosophy. If I wish to eat, I should follow own want, but I should manage this desire would not damage me. I.e. I would not have weight addition, heart problems or whatever. Hence I began looking for answer. Food adds on were disapproved since I do not want to trial someoneтАЩs chemical substances on my physical structure. Who acknowledges what happen. My doc too stated so. After I tested different knead gimmicks. But it was the same as riding dead sawbuck. I feel some stuff like moves of balls in eromatics massaging machine. But it did not work ! I am lazy individual, so exercising, or swimming is not for me. I hate it. Why should I do I hate. I examined over again to inquire for suction lipectomy, and they agreed to do some on fresh lipomatic machine. I don't why , but it made up soft, pain-free . People say, this is the single machine in Baltics. Today it appeared to be a problem to keep weight. With my eating habits it seems to be very hard, so I recalled my doctrine and found a resolution, which reversed my life round ! Try making the same and it should work as well for you ! I settled to like organic food ! Alike scratch salad or tomato juice, fatty free ham or yoghourt. This idea was like a sign of felicity ! I can eat and love food without worrying about weight ! Course, it went not so easy to vary preferences, but I managed. Foremost, I decreased ratio of un-healthy food and raised proportion of veggies and fruits. It has taken about 6 calendar months for me. But can you suppose ? I was losing weight without caring about what and how much I eat ! I beloved Greek salad and had it few times a day. Of course, itтАЩs also fatty, but not such as fries or franks. At Present my weight is 95 kg which is also fairly high. Nevertheless, I managed sizeable weight loss (do not ask me what was taken with liposuction ) and loving my meals. Are you able to repeat my success ?

When I reached the age of adolescence, I make it a point to have a day by day skin care approach and exercise it faithfully. In this way, I may prevent contracting skin problems while maintaining a fair and wonderful skin at the same time. What I did not know is that with a daily skin care method alone, I can't guarantee myself to be free of against skin problems like most of the girls my age did.
One day, I came across Chessa who is one of my closest cousins in the family. While we were still at a distance from each other, I noticed that today she's not the usual Chessa I knew who shows her alluring face in the public. Because now, she is covering her face with her long hair. As we get close, I noticed that she had acne on her cheeks and on her forehead. That cleared up my thoughts about why she's covering her face. I wonder now how it would have been if the same thing happened to me. I mean I am not as beautiful as she is but I had took real care of my skin so much for so long that I would not even want it to get scathed.
Days came to fly so fast that the next thing I knew is that I found additional acne forming on my face. I find it certainly shameful because its size makes it really obvious. One thing I thought of that time is I don't want to go walking on the street like how Chessa did as I remembered. Knowing that things would get worse if I don't act upon this immediately, I browsed the internet for answers that would address the skin care problem. Through several hours of searching, I finally stumbled into… A website with a wide range of very reliable tips and advices for skin care needs and problems. I had been into different sites that claim to have the best solution to whatever skin care needs but it seems to me they are lacking something. I prefer a site that covers not only revolutionary approach in treating skin care problems but in addition natural ways that is proven to be safe and effective even up to this moment. Then Koo's Skin Care came which is undoubtedly the solution that could help me get through with my acne problem in the most natural and inexpensive way possible. In the site you can find vitamins for acne, a vast selection of tips and advices for whatever skin care concerns you have.
I have tried a lot of the advance methods so far as to treat my skin care problems but it only brought me further problems. But when I found Koo's Skin Care, I have regained the beauty of my skin while saving a couple of bucks. Ruth
What I love about Koo's Skin Care is that I don't have to worry about the rather dangerous effects generated by the acne treatment to my skin as there are all generally natural acne medicines that I can try on. Plus, I don't need to spend a lot of cash to treatments that aren't proven effective, expensive, and with potential damaging adverse effects. Personally, I didn't expect much on how exceptional vitamins for acne and homespun acne treatments are, until I have tried one. It actually work miracles on my acne. If you have skin care problems which you wish to be cured in the best capable, safest and economical way, then consider checking out Koo's Skin Care.
Although I didn't escape the embarrassing acne experience just like Chessa, it seems to me that what I've been through isn't that bad at all. The experience in fact, led me to discover Koo's Skin Care which not only solved my acne issue but also made me aware how to suppress skin conditions and acquire a perfect-looking skin.
